Terms And Conditions
By completing a purchase for yourself or as a gift, you agree to the following terms and conditions.
For all orders:
Payments are non-refundable. We charge for 1 month at a time, which includes 2 boxes at $45 each, or 1 box at $50. Delivery fee’s are additional. For bi-weekly pickup orders:
I agree to pickup my purchase at the designated location and time in Cadiz KY on the two designated Thursdays out of the month. For bi-weekly home delivery orders: I understand that home delivery is only available for an additional $10 fee within Cadiz and $15 within 10-12 miles of Cadiz. Delivery must be selected and paid for at checkout, and delivery address must be completed with the correct address. Hidden Acres Produce will deliver according to their delivery schedule on the indicated delivery day. I understand that I am not guaranteed delivery by a specific time. I agree to provide detailed pickup instructions if necessary. I understand that Hidden Acres Produce is only offering contactless porch delivery and will not enter a building.
Produce Box Purchase Agreement
By purchasing a Hidden Acres Produce produce box, for yourself or as a gift, you agree to the following terms and conditions: I understand that to successfully reserve my box I must register and complete my payment in full no less than 5 days before pickup day. If done after this window I may not receive my box until the next pickup date. I understand that payments are non-refundable.
START DATE and END DATE
I understand that the start date and end date of our produce box season is flexible, based on seasonal conditions and product availability. I am aware that Hidden Acres Produce will communicate via email to inform all members of updates and the official start date, and that it is my responsibility to contact us via email if I am not receiving notifications near the projected start date.
There are no refunds, either full or partial, for cancellation of my produce box once purchased. I understand that if I cancel my pre-paid produce box, I forfeit my payment and will not be refunded the difference. I understand I may choose to find an alternate person to buy out or transfer my produce box subscription to, and the subscription ownership will be transferred to the alternate person. The alternate person will pay the original shareholder directly. I understand that I am responsible for informing Hidden Acres Produce if such a transfer occurs by calling and 270-883-2312 and emailing contact@hiddenacresproduce.com with at least 7 days advance notice. I agree to pick up my box on the designated Thursdays of the month from the chosen pickup site. I understand that Hidden Acres Produce cannot accommodate requests to change pickup locations or dates. If I cannot pickup my box I understand that I am responsible for arranging for someone else to pickup my box for me. I understand that if my box is not picked up on the designated pickup day during the designated time, my box will be
donated at the discretion of Hidden Acres Produce . I will not receive credit or a refund for any boxes that I do not pickup. Pick up time parameters are set for the entirety of the season. I agree to not sign up for the Hidden Acres produce box subscription knowing that I cannot make it to pick up on the designated day & time. I understand that as a member and consumer of Hidden Acres Produce produce box subscription I share in both the bounty and the risks of farming. I understand that Hidden Acres Produce will do their best to have a bountiful and beautiful harvest. I understand that the risks include poor harvests or crop losses due to extreme weather, insects, natural disasters or other production challenges. I understand that Hidden Acres Produce harvests natural organic produce whenever possible. Occasionally a natural pest repellent may be used on certain crops if a large pest issue occurs-this is generally on Squash and Zucchini. I understand that Hidden Acres Produce provides mainly organic produce, but that it is not FDA Certified Organic. I understand that all produce should be washed well before consumption and appropriately handled. Hidden Acres produce is not responsible for the sanitizing of your produce or box.
I understand that produce is packaged in a cardboard box and some items in paper bags. I understand that to prolong the shelf life of my produce I should store it at the proper temperature and humidity, which for most vegetables is in a plastic bag or tote in the refrigerator. I understand that Hidden Acres Produce communicates important updates and changes by email. I agree to add contact@hiddenacresproduce.com to my email contacts. I understand that Hidden Acres Produce is not liable for any food allergies or foodborne illness.
